We had a new member in attendance this evening,  James Vannier, An Army Veteran who served from 2006-2012.  He served in Afghanistan and is an EMS Tech.  Welcome James.
The Sr. Vice stated that Lomilino Sign Company has until August 1st to get the Legion Sign fixed.  If it isn’t fixed by then we are finding someone else.
We will be closed on July 4th so that our Bar Manager and Bar Tenders can enjoy the 4th of July.  We will reopen at noon on July 5th.
We will be in the July 4th parade with our Legion golf cart.  Warren is taking the cart out.  If anyone is interested in riding along, contact Warren.
The SAL Commander Joel DuPre has measured off the area for the smoke shack and the Overhead and walk thru door.  He will get with Hoss Farmer to get a detailed cost to have the concrete poured.  He is also working on a rough estimate of the cost of the smoke shack and detailed construction plans.
Our Sgt at Arms is scheduled to return from Iraq on July 13th.
Jim Carlton brought up the smell in the banquet hall.  We will contact Milnes Plumbing to address the drain issues.  The problem may stem from the air not circulating in the banquet hall and may require leaving the air turned on just to circulate the room.
The Junior Vice suggested that we should consider a summer dress uniform for the officers.  After some discussion a motion was made to adopt a summer dress uniform.  Motion was unanimously approved.
Ron Hoffstadt has donated a shelving unit to the Legion.  It will need to be picked up at his residence.  Joel DuPre is going to get with Ron to handle it.
Ron Hofstadt brought up the weather stripping on the banquet hall doors.  Joel Dupre stated that he would look at trying to fix the problem.  The weather stripping may not be the entire problem.  The doors have been sprung and do not fit tight as they should.
Donald Bates, Jr. from the SAL was in attendance.
There being now further business, the meeting was adjourned at 19:20 hrs.
